I travel a lot on buses.

To ask a driver to stop you need to press the bell closest to you. The sign "STOPPING" is lit up.

I've just realised STOPPING is an onomatopoeia.

The definition of onomatopoeia is:

"the formation of a word, as cuckoo or boom, by imitation of a sound made by or associated with its referent."
The word "STOPPING" has two words: STOP and PING. This means you are literally asking the driver to STOP with a PING.

How cool is that!

I love buses!
