What Utter Madness!

I was working on the Internet in the library. As my time was running out, I asked a librarian to extend my time.

"You've been working on the Internet for hours. Don't you think you should be taking a break?" she said.
"No, I'm working."
"I work on the Internet but I still have to take breaks."
"I don't need a break, thank you."
"Well, on your head be it," she said. "Don't blame us if you start having troubles with your eyes."
"Actually, I used to wear glasses but I stopped wearing them years ago."
"How is that possible?"
"I simply believed that's all."

Her bespectacled eyes stared at me as if I was crazy.

Thank goodness for madness!
