Dead Men Walking

"To surmount maya was the task assigned to the human race by the millennial prophets. To rise above the duality of creation and perceive the unity of the Creator was conceived of as man's highest goal. Those who cling to the cosmic illusion must accept its essential law of polarity: flow and ebb, rise and fall, day and night, pleasure and pain, good and evil, birth and death. This cyclic pattern assumes a certain anguishing monotony, after man has gone through a few thousand human births; he begins to cast a hopeful eye beyond the compulsions of maya." The Law of Miracles
There is nothing but Light. Light is in all time and all space and is the only cause.

Because Light is all there is, Light cannot choose one reality over another such as sickness over health, or light over darkness. Light is in sickness and health; is in light and darkness; is in poverty and wealth. The moment I choose health over sickness, good over evil, wealth over poverty, I'm locked in the dream of duality.

What is the dream of duality? It's a reality where life is experienced as moving in polarised flux: birth and death; sickness and health. It is a reality where you're trying to replace one dream with another. In this dream we're dead men walking meaning that no matter how much you try to fix yourself with nice clothes, have the best doctors, use the best creams to make you look ageless, eat the best meal, as long as you're still experiencing life as a duality, you're a dead man walking. It's only a matter of time before you die and have to play the game all over again, albeit in a different body. What's the point of continuing the same old cycle?

The way you transcend the "dead men walking" mentality is to realise the changeless Light as your true identity and the only cause. In other words, Light is all there is. Because my identity is Light, all my actions are carried out by the Light. It is the Light that is walking, talking, moving, writing, communicating with others and simply being.

So I noticed I had what felt like an ulcer on my gum. My initial reaction was to direct healing energy at it but then I reminded myself that in trying to get rid of it, I was seeing the ulcer as bad; and where there is something bad, it has to be replaced with something good, right. Uh oh, dead men walking!

What to do? What to do?

Aha! Light is all there is, therefore, right where the ulcer is there is Light. I let the Light express as me in whatever form it chooses.

All is Light.
